Punk Rawk.

Punk was the genre that got me to love music. While none of these were my entry level stuff, all of these rank somewhere in my top 50 albums of all time. List is my top 5 punk lps.
1Beach Slang
The Things We Do to Find People Who Feel

This album picks me up when I'm down, makes me jump. I could drum to this for hours (and I have). I love every cry of "young" and "alive" on here like they were my own words. This album got me to love heavy guitars again (after a deep foray into pop, rnb, and hip-hop) and I will forever be grateful.
2Bomb the Music Industry!
Vacation

Happiness in friendship encapsulated in loneliness. It's like the beach boys of the 60's time traveled into the future, thought pinkerton was the greatest album ever, and spun their own take on it. Vacation's messy, loud, and perfect. #holdonlemmego5itrealquick
3Jawbreaker
Dear You

Emotional Punk pop that bests all of their contepories of the time (lookin at you goo goo dolls). Too bad these guys had to break up after this. Phenominal record.

Stomachaches

Frank proving himself to be the most sincere punk of all the MCR members and putting out a record that tops their whole discography easily in terms of ferocity, pure emotion, and musicianship.
5Against Me!
Transgender Dysphoria Blues

This album is important, scathing, and frankly quite brutal. Laura's guitar and vocal work are as eviscerating as ever, and Atom's drumming is some of my favorite he's ever done.
