Hip Hop: One year four months later

Basically since my asking you guys earlier last year to rec me hip hop, I've delved into the genre, and found a love of different music i never realized i had before. The genre has opened me up to jazz, to instrumental, to calmer, and to more cyclical stuff since my first glance. These are my top albums so far. Hopefully I did a good job haha.
1Nujabes
Metaphorical Music

This guy is so great. I could relax to this album all day. Nujabes has such an ear for music, he knows exactly when to put vocals or to leave it instrumental. It's perfect
2Open Mike Eagle
Dark Comedy

One of my top lyricists, Mike's got some of my favorite one liners in the whole of the genre.
3Aesop Rock
Skelethon

This guy is nigh untouchable in terms of lyrics for me. His flow is catchy, varied, and the guy's production is always on point (even in bazooka tooth). perfect for a pasty unthreatening white guy like me.
4Madvillain
Madvillainy

What's not to love about an antisocial nerd obsessed with food, weed, and comics and pretending to be a supervillain teaming up with one of the genre's top producers?
5Kanye West
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

Kanye may not be the greatest lyricist or have the best flow, but man does he know how to write great backing tracks, and he used to know when to put on a great feature
6Logic
Under Pressure

Basically my introduction to the genre, and it's really awesome! Despite the kendrick similarities, I actually prefer this guy to Kendrick (blasphemy!) due to the fact I can relate to his lyrics and get behind his flow a bit more. besides, Buried alive speaks to me like no other track in the genre does.
7MF DOOM
MM.. Food

What's not to love about an antisocial nerd obsessed with food, weed, and comics and pretending to be a supervillain?[2] This one's rated lower because the production isn't as good as madvillainy.
8A Tribe Called Quest
People's Instinctive Travels & The Paths of Rhythm

Fantastic record, love the jazz and the lyricism. A bit one note in terms of tone, but that's easily overlooked due to the variety between the rappers and the quality of the words they're saying. I prefer this one to Low end theory specifically because of the track's Ham n eggs, and I left my Wallet in El Segundo.
9Beastie Boys
Paul's Boutique

This was the album that forced me to look at sampling as more than stealing or borrowing. The way the music is put together on here is just simpy mindblowing. I understand now, sampling is as much an art form as playing any instrument.

Ps. B-Boy Billioubaise is the best hip hop song of all time
10Atmosphere
When Life Gives You Lemons...

Slug is my spirit animal
