My Ipod Lineup
This is my list of bands I've seen live that are on my iPod. I stole this from another list I saw earlier today and I can't figure out why these bands being on my iPod is a relevant topic for a list, but fuck it. That's right. Butt fuck it. *snicker* |
| 1 | AFI
My first real hsow. Co&Ca, Thursday, and AFI in '03. What a way to kick it off. |
| 2 | As I Lay Dying
Decent show. Nothing too special. Stuff from Frail Words Collapse is still the best and they proved it the night. |
| 3 | August Burns Red
A LOT of passion. Really fun and energetic show. Set was short, however. |
| 4 | The Bled
I didn't really know anything about this band until I saw them live. I wish I hadn't went to that show so ignorant. I was thoroughly impressed. The music is decent, but the live show is killer. |
| 5 | Children of Bodom
Good show, but fuck the Hatecrew. Bodom fans can suck monkey balls. |
| 6 | Cohhed and Cambria
Before they could even sell out a warehouse in Pensacola, FL, they could still make epic, powerful shows. Again, I wish I had known more about them before I went. I just want to relive that show today. Ah, capricious youth. |
| 7 | Darkest Hour
Even though I'm really starting to get into them now, I left at the beginning of their set. I was convinced that there was no way they could follow Himsa. |
| 8 | Every Time I Die
Wow. So much fun, as you would imaginge. Plus the guys were really cool and approachable. |
| 9 | Himsa
Out of all the shows I've been to, my top 2 are both Himsa shows hands down. |
| 10 | The Human Abstract
Really tight set. It's just too bad they played alot of stuff from their new album that was way too "epic"-y and no one was familiar with. Doesn't much make for a good time. |
| 11 | Maylene & the Sons of Disaster
Hot Damn that's some good 'ole fun thar. Seriously, I gott rep my "Bama boys. |
| 12 | Protest the Hero
Although, I've heard the exact opposite, they put on an extraordinarily tight set for such a technical band. Maybe I'm biased because I like them so much. |
| 13 | Thursday
I had no idea that Geoff Rickley was bat shit crazy on stage. It was reallly energetic and kinda felt very emotional at the same time. Also they did a cover of Prince's "Party Like it's 1999". |
| 14 | Trivium
Seeing them live was the final nail in the coffin for me. I went from a huge fan of From Ember to Inferno and Ascendancy to absolutely loathing this band. |
| 15 | Underoath
It was really cool, it just felt like a damn bible study. There were literally parents there with 11 year olds. |
