Winesburgohio 05.20.16	8? really lush and diverse, both participants have a knack for making music that's simultaneously comfortable and alien which makes it a joy to listen to if you like to eek out details. i'd definitely recommend it, to my mind it's their finest collab bloody outraged Manuel Mota hasn't shown up i adore that album

LotusFlower 05.20.16	considering all the comments and dislikes each song has gotten on youtube and the sputnik average, im going to go ahead and say this is not accessible. i will say however, i think there is some weird anomaly that appears in the sound where the bad, inaccessibility turns around to be somewhat accessible and nice but I do not think its that at the get go. also im intrigued why you mean by impact? all im seeing is hate towards this, lol.

Winesburgohio 05.20.16	i remember when it came out lots of people who are in ~our~ kind of music scene were like 'holy shit this is really great', it generated quite a wee furore -- most people who dislike it are shitheads, it has a huge cult following it's kinda like Trout Mask Replica in that respect, where it's simultaneously beloved or loathed depending on who you talk to i guess! idk i dont' want to label it avant-garde just because it implies i'm some of kind deep listener for liking it when really i just think it's the simple pop and rugged brostep of the album that i enjoy really.

LotusFlower 05.20.16	IT is one polarizing album for sure, I suppose. I guess i find myself in the middle where i can KINDA see where you and toad are coming from when you say it isnt "objectively bad" and "accessible" but on the other hand I do think this is something that was unintentionally an outsider music staple. i kinda find myself leaning towards artists in the "outsider" scene at random. Like I love Jandek and Todd and Daniel Johnson and Hasil Adkins and Sun City Girls but I cannot stand Captain Beefheart at all. So I dont really know how i feel about this album except "i kinda like it" i suppose.

LotusFlower 05.20.16	ye, outsider music is a scene i need to explore more just because its soooo interesting. Also looking at the guy who produced this album's other work, it seems like he may of made the sound as it is intentional, which I kinda hope not. This album when contextualized with the feelings and emotions she went through with being pregnant rub off more effectively if the album was just a misguided ball of emotional rage. i dunno. it is interesting as hell, so you were right about that.
