heck 05.01.16	@Supercoolguy64: yeah dude, it's pretty awesome. he's having someone else do the front cover but he's basically commissioned me to do separate pieces of art inspired by each song that will be used in the lyric booklet, with plenty of free reign and artistic license. it's not going to get a wide release, just a self-released thing distributed primarily in his area (Nelson, British Columbia). but still, just being able to do album artwork is amazing and I should get some amount of exposure out of it which is cool too.

heck 05.01.16	I guess I could probably post a couple examples of stuff I've thrown together for fun. forewarning: it's probably not what you guys are expecting. I don't consider myself a professional or whatever by any stretch of the imagination, just someone doing art as a hobby. I'm surprised my musician friend even approached me to do his booklet art, but he says my style is pretty much perfect for his vision of the album so I can't really argue with that. also worth noting that this is stuff I've made using a new tablet for the first time and also after taking a break from art, plus I've also been temporarily using a free program with a limited number of brushes, so it's pretty messy and not really my "best" work. http://i.imgur.com/1yPXxcl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/mIh5Tou.jpg http://i.imgur.com/FcuvaQy.jpg
