Speaking of Santogold, this is by far my favourite track from her self-titled debut. A fantastic hook, a ridiculously catchy beat and the dreamiest harmonies I've heard in a while. |

A weird entry, I know; but good lord there's a hell of a vocal delivery on this one. Even if it's the same old Timbaland beat, Usher Raymond owns this. |

Seeing RATM in January was an incredible experience, and hearing this track brought back my love and faith in Zach de la Rocha. Funky alternative hip-hop with an anthemic chorus and a killer drummer- top stuff. |

It was great to have R.E.M. back, especially on the back of such a good album. This song stands out for me especially, I find the guitar leading the charge over Stipe and Mills' harmony a perfectly executed example of what the band is still capable of when it comes to songwriting. |

The song rides on an awesome dance-rock beat from Josh Freese, while Reznor desperately pleas for a cure to his addictions. One can only hope this productivity keeps up. |

You can diss the Red Album all you like, but this is far and away the best song the band have done since Keep Fishin'. A sincere, wonderful exploration of Weezer's musical foundations. |

A beautiful single to lead into one of the best records of the year. Dallas Green has expanded his sound and vision as a musician, and this really shows here. |
