Atari 03.18.16	I actually got that thin lizzy for free because I spend so much at my local record store that the owner said it was on him lol. @JT, hey bud. my copy of then play on is far from perfect tbh. the record itself is in good shape, but the cover is kind of worn. you should post your vinyl collection sometime if you haven't already and yeah sinternet, tallest man on earth is fantastic on vinyl. he's become one of my all time favorite artists for sure and that's one hell of a debut
JamieTwort 03.18.16	"@JT, hey bud. my copy of then play on is far from perfect tbh. the record itself is in good shape, but the cover is kind of worn. you should post your vinyl collection sometime if you haven't already" Maybe near-perfect is asking too much but every copy I've seen has been in fairly poor condition or one of the later less desirable pressings (not that I usually care too much about pressings but at least an early gatefold copy with the original artwork would be preferable) and seeing as it's one of my favourite albums I would ideally like a really nice copy. I intend to at least post a list of what I consider the cream of the crop of my collection at some point soon.

I have some records I love that I wish were in better shape myself, but I figured if I come across a nicer copy i'll just buy it and sell the old one :] the most important thing to me is that the record itself isn't all scratched to shit, I can deal with some wear and tear on the sleeve
wham49 03.18.16	fantastic score, what version is the Freewheelin dylan, some can be pretty pricey, depending on label, mono or stereo or one of the mistake versions

I bought a bunch of stuff in a hurry last night and haven't had much time to go through it all yet. it was $10 bucks and in pretty decent condition, so I would have snagged it up regardless of the version ;) cheers manosg :] i'll be thinking of you whenever I jam out to Jailbreak! it's cool how much music I've discovered on this site thanks to pretty much each and every one of you. I'm thinking of making a thank you list of sorts that will basically be a giant list of albums I love and the users who got me into them
Titan 03.18.16	gotta be careful with buying used records, regardless if they are in 'good' condition and don't have any scratches......i have plenty that are in great shape but have been played so many times that they just don't sound that good anymore
JamieTwort 03.18.16	Regarding Thin Lizzy, you should definitely check out Black Rose. It's the only Lizzy album with Gary Moore on the whole album and needless to say he rules on it.
Atari 03.18.16	yeah I know it can be hit or miss, but ironically, I've had better luck with used records than new ones. one of the albums I bought that has the most issues with skipping and just sounding "off" was brand new haha. the owner at my local record store is also extremely picky with the condition of the used records he buys, so it seems like they play just fine 9 out of 10 times. jammed moving pictures last night and it sounded perfect :] edit: thanks JT, will definitely check it out!
