| RIP Keith Emerson (at 71)
He will truly be missed by lots of dedicated fans, past and present. He certainly was a textbook example of what an early 70s rock keyboard wizard was, being an inspiration to future classically and progressively minded musicians such as Jordan Rudess and Michael Romeo. | | 1 | | Emerson, Lake, and Palmer Emerson, Lake & Palmer | | 2 | | Emerson, Lake, and Palmer Tarkus | | 3 | | Emerson, Lake, and Palmer Trilogy | | 4 | | Emerson, Lake, and Palmer Brain Salad Surgery | |

03.12.16 | So many great rock pioneers are just dropping like flies these days. It's sad, but they obviously couldn't last forever, unlike their music. | Friday13th

Heard it was suicide. So sad.
RIP, Emerson. | Snowdog808
03.13.16 | I only felt like putting their greatest studio work on this list, but I acknowledge how wonderful Pictures is regardless. It's so sad to lose Jon Lord and Keith Emerson just a few years apart from each other as well. |
