03.01.16 | Your second favourite album is a compilation. ..? |
Tunaboy45
03.01.16 | Apparently a compilation is better than Dookie, Nimrod and Insomniac. |
ChoccyPhilly
03.01.16 | and loads of people love American idiot, so it's hardly controversial |
MyNameIsPencil
03.01.16 | Having 1,2, and 3 as your favourites makes me wonder if you're 12 |
EvoHavok
03.01.16 | Lol at 2. Unlike most people, I think 3 is great but I wouldn't be able to put it over the 90's classics. |
Tunaboy45
03.01.16 | American Idiot is a great album, no denying that. Haven't listened to it properly in years but just for the nostalgia it holds a special place in my cold and jaded heart. |
MyNameIsPencil
03.01.16 | See I didn't listen to Green Day as a kid much, so I'm nostalgia free from American Idiot and in turn I was able to listen to it without the lense of nostolgia interfering
And boy do I think it's a crappy album |
theNateman
03.01.16 | I have the nostalgia for American Idiot. But it is really a crappy album[2]
Inb4 green day sucks |
claygurnz
03.01.16 | 6 is 1 |
gryndstone
03.01.16 | gotta say 5 is 1. Also i know they're both crappy but Uno>Dos |
onionbubs
03.01.16 | Uno>Dos [2]. 4 is 1. but i can get behind most rankings of the band, as i think american idiot is their most impressive release, even though i prefer 4-6 to it. warning is definitely too low though. my thoughts on 3 won't fit in this box. i'd write a review, but there are enough of them. theyre probably my favorite band, but for personal reasons if anything |
onionbubs
03.01.16 | also, one list a day, dude. its okay, since youre new, you didnt know, and most users publish multiple lists and stuff when theyre new, but just keep that in mind for future reference. |
teeawgo
03.01.16 | American Idiot was the first record I ever bought when I was like 10, so it's real nostalgic for me [3]. But nothing they've put out comes close to Dookie. 5 is 1 [2] |
hobblepot
03.01.16 | American idiot is nostalgiac for me, but I also think it's a fantastic album, musically, lyrically, everything. It's a modern classic. I know how uncool it is to say that, but whatever |
Hoppoman
03.01.16 | Dookie is too low. |
onionbubs
03.01.16 | Nimrod>American Idiot>Dookie=Insomniac>Warning>Kerplunk=39 Smooth>21CB>Tre>Uno>Dos
dont really know where i would rank shenanigans. id deduct points since it sounds like a collection of miscellaneous songs, but thats what it is. i cant really fault it for being a bsides compilation. |
Mutantsnowstorm
03.02.16 | you add live albums and dont include On The Radio?
That's like, the best live album of theirs |
NateMa
03.02.16 | International Superhits is on #2 because almost all the songs are great. I enjoy listening to it really much.
Usually I prefer listening to albums and I'm not a big fan of compilations. Of course there's more work behind the albums that are ranked lower but it's simply a great summary of Green Day's early work.
And in the description I explain #1 and #3
It's just my opinion, even if it's not popular ;-) |
NateMa
03.02.16 | And I didn't include "On the Radio" because I've never the listened to it. It came out at a time I was not listening to every little bit Green Day released. This came to an end with the 21st Century Breakdown live albums. But perhaps I should give it a try |
furyroad97
03.02.16 | I know all the fans love American Idiot & all that, same here. That said, Dookie 4 Life! |
onionbubs
03.02.16 | american idiot and dookie both rule. it doesnt matter which is better.
nimrod wins anyway :) |
CaliggyJack
03.02.16 | No Insomniac love -_- |
onionbubs
03.02.16 | insomniac=dookie for me. both rule. |
