One of my favorite bands, thought this would be a challenge given their consistency, so I thought I'd take a crack at it. | 8 | | Every Time I Die The Burial Plot Bidding War
Honestly listened to this once and couldn't even make it all the way through. Just glad they didn't give up after this mess. | 7 | | Every Time I Die Gutter Phenomenon
My least favorite full album outing by the group. The riffs are a little lazy as well as the production of the vocals. For some reason Keith sounds very off with this one. Either way I still enjoy it.
Favorite Tracks: Bored Stiff, The New Black, and Champing at the Bit | 6 | | Every Time I Die Last Night In Town
I like the strain on Keith's voice in this album as you can hear him still trying to adjust his vocals to a natural scream. The songs on this album aren't as well put together as their later material but there are certain sections in songs that are straight up brilliant.
Favorite Tracks: The Logic of Crocodiles, Emergency Broadcast Syndrome, and Here's to Lookin' At You | 5 | | Every Time I Die Ex Lives
In a similiar vein to The Big Dirty with a more chaotic atmosphere as opposed to the straight up party style of previous albums. Definitely not as much of a repeater as their other material.
Favorite Tracks: Underwater Bimbos From Outer Space, Partying Is Such Sweet Sorrow, and Drag King | 4 | | Every Time I Die The Big Dirty
Every song on this album is catchy, fun, and punches you in the gut with at least 20 downright dirty guitar riffs. Obviously what the album name is pertaining to.
Favorite Tracks: Pigs is Pigs, A Gentleman's Sport, and No Son of Mine | 3 | | Every Time I Die New Junk Aesthetic
Their most sonically distinct album. Everything seems to follow the artwork and overall themes so closely. Only complaint with is that overtime certain songs can sound very similar.
Favorite Tracks: Who Invited the Russian Soldier, White Smoke, and The Marvelous Slut | 2 | | Every Time I Die Hot Damn!
Cathartic and ridiculous and strung out and heavy as balls. This this is a messy hardcore classic.
Favorite Tracks: Ebalorama, Floater, and She's My Rushmore | 1 | | Every Time I Die From Parts Unknown
Haven't stopped listening to this since it came out. Not a misstep on this album and a perfectly concocted blend of everything they've released previously.
Favorite Track: The Great Secret, Moor, and Exometrium | |
