New Finds and Rediscoveries

Haven't really used this site as much as I used to. Would appreciate some recs.

Ruiner

Song's like "The King is Dead" and "God Loves a Liar" are damn near perfect. Band does not get entirely enough recognition.

Anthemic to the max, the band has the amazing ability to grab your attention and never let go with their complex melodies and amazing songwriting.

An album that is socially aware, but doesn't make the listener feel simple minded. Progressive punk rock with progressive ideals.

Self-deprecating and brutally honest folk punk that anyone can relate to.

Transgender Dysphoria Blues

I've been putting off really giving this a good listen for some time now. After a few mediocre to poor releases, the band finally finds their stride again with really good power-pop punk.

Jason Shevchuk of Kid Dynamite fame creates an often poignant and honest album as a one-off.

Been getting away from crust for a while now, but Still Life is near perfection. Riffs galore.

Such a unique pop-punk album that really stands head and shoulders above the rest.

I use to talk about this album on Sputnik constantly, but over the years I've forgotten about it. While some find the vocals a bit annoying, but I find them honest and heartbreaking.
