Electronic Releases of 2015 You Should Grab

Here is a small list I've compiled, some are live mixes, official compilations, EPs, or albums. The list is meant for some of the absences I noticed on the staff list (as solid as it is), is missing a few from this list I thought should of been at least in the top 50. I won't re-list those electronic releases in the staff list (Jamie xx, Blanck Mass, Oneohtrix Point Never indeed deserved to be there). Also, it should be mentioned all of the mixes and compilations made to RA's top mixes list, I suggest you check it out as a few of them I have yet to hear. The list is by far their best this year (their top albums was a downer imo). Also, you can probably find a lot of this on soundcloud - get to it!
1Sophie
Product

The front and end of this compilation is astounding. Though it lags in some of the middle portions of its trap / footwork qualities, it doesn't deter it entirely; see: "MSMSMSM". A great collection of re-released and unreleased tracks for the compilation
2Bicep
Just
3ASC
Fervent Dream
4DJ Richard
Grind

One of the best releases this year.
5Levon Vincent
Levon Vincent
6Head High
Home. House. Hardcore.

A personal favorite compilation; Head High or WK7 or Shed streamlines an hour of perfected house tracks over the decades of his aliases to create one of the best compilations of the year.
7Gesloten Cirkel
M011

M011-M012 frankly are meant to be a side by side EPs.
8Gesloten Cirkel
M012

Along with M011 EP, one of the finest acid releases this year.
9Jacek Sienkiewicz
Drifting
10Mumdance and Logos
Proto
11John Tejada
Signs Under Test
12Container
LP 3
13Lapalux
Lustmore
14r.roo
Deviation
15 Cleric
Codes of Chaos EP

Cleric has this burgeoning intensity in his music that at this point can only be Cleric. Looking out for more seminal releases from this up and comer.
16Nick Hoppner
Folk
17Fort Romeau
Insides

Just another Ghostly International quality release. They usually have one every year with that artist list.
18 Various Artists
R.I.P. 50 Weapons

The last compilation of the project label. A fine end, indeed.
19 Ben UFO
Live at the Osaka Factory

Ben djing live is a site to see. He mixes up styles and shifts through genres seamlessly and unprediactably. This online mix is a clear indication of the skill he possesses, already known to many of his contemporaries. It's unfortunate he has yet to dabble in original work, but I can see why he doesn't - his own live mixes stand as tribute to those before him.
20Function
Berghain 07

This is what dark, unrelenting textbook techno vibe that sounds like it's being manufactured right before you. The likes of what Sandwell District and Northern Lights pull out year after year, Function manages to capture that sound in this essential mix.
21 Surgeon
Tresor 97-99

in many ways the legendary producer's three disc set official mix is a portrait of the era. Tresor 97-99 pushes you into the times where the sounds of Detroit were being tested overseas with a mixture of slogging noise, quicker pace with faster maneuverability. It still sounds experimental today, which is quite extraordinary.
22 Mumdance
Fabriclive 80

This man, along with some of his other contemporaries - notably Logos, has created a expansive, weightless grim ambient hybrid genre that has since caught the ears of many the past couple of years. Fabriclive 80 is that sense of lift, a feeling of airiness that through his collaborations and solo work has given him a reputation of the unknown. The fabriclive series is one of the best and this mix does it justice.
23Ricardo Donoso
Sarava Exu

The one drone record I appreciated this year.
24 Mr. G
Night On The Town?

Legendary UK producer brings it back to the basics.
25Monolake
I A

The best of the string of EPs released this year by this influential duo.
26Jlin
Dark Energy

I've never been a fan of trap as the majority of its qualities are frankly irritating, but Jlin's minimalistic nature and hybrid of introducing house and footwork elements within expand on a great record.
27 Stephan Bodzin
Powers of Ten

Once Powers of Ten gets its feet wet, the atmospheric minimalism that it stirringly throws at you is quality.
28Joey Anderson
Invisible Switch

At heart a house record that stretches its wings into beautiful territory.
29Vril
Portal

This is record shows why the German's have been ahead of the pack in terms of producing consistent techno the past decade that encompasses their style. It is, in many ways, a Berlin show from Portal 1-8. Listen to Portal 7, you'll know the moment I speak of. One of pure bliss when hearing something like this on the floor, simply engrossing.
30Zenker Brothers
Immersion

Some of these tracks have a classical take or sense to them, like being transported in the early 90s. They're very simple and archaic.
31Romare
Projections

Executed to perfection.
