Stuff just missing the cut or needs more listens: Dorthia Cottrell, Leprous, Murs, Le Butcherettes, Tempel, Immortal Bird, Fear Factory, Cloud Rat, Secrets Of The Sky, Steven Wilson, GOLD, Vastum, Dog Fashion Disco, Sactrum, Wildlights, Dark Sermon, Black Fast, Cavern, Kylesa, Iron Maiden, Gorod, Vhol, Wild Throne, Killing Joke, Highly Suspect, Tame Impala, Beardfish, Spylacopa, White Widows Pact. Didn't include any EP's but these bands put out some that caught my attention this year: Shaolin Death Squad, Foo Fighters, Barishi, Orchid, Crooked, Opul, SiKth. Biggest disappointments: Coliseum, Windhand, & SLAAAAAAAYERRRRRRRR!!!!! |
