Nazzadan 12.17.15	That video alone isn't great evidence of the proposed kidnapping/snuff film as it is just from Varg himself, but later in that same documentary other musicians confirmed that Euronymous was planning it, and some even testified in Varg's trial that he was going to do it. The other dude with Varg at Euronymous' apartment I believe testified that Euronymous attacked Varg first, too. Edit: Watching the video it was Blackthorn with him, I thought it was some random friend of theirs

Varg is fucked up but I 100% believe Euronymous was at least entertaining the thought of killing him Blackthorn was on trial for something else and said that he had nothing to do with the murder and was trying to protect himself from being involved in Varg's case so nvm he didn't testify that Varg was attacked at the apartment.
WatchItExplode 12.17.15	I'm reading Metallion, the Slayer Mag Diaries right now. From what I've read it seems like Varg was a cash cow for Euronymous in developing his label. I wouldn't put something bizarre like the torture/snuff film thing past him, but the timing seems unlikely.

Nazzadan 12.17.15	Yeah he was claiming responsibility for the burnings and just bringing tons of worldwide media attention down on the small black metal scene and the inner circle was none too happy with that. He also had his own sect of the inner circle that was militant to say the least and he was preparing to bomb a building when they arrested him, so I see plenty of reasons for the rest of the BM scene to want him out of the picture

Mystletainn 12.17.15	Kurt Struebing of 1st wave BM band NME killed his adoptive mom with a hatchet and scissors while on drugs and I believe shortly after drove his car off an off-ramp and died. One of the worst things I've ever heard is the lead singer of lost prophets raping a baby... Sick fk, they aren't BM but ya.

Illoomorpheme 12.17.15	Jef Whitehead seems like an OK dude to me, his interviews show him as a pretty down to earth guy that just wants to make music and raise his kid.
Spacesh1p 12.17.15	The Lostprophets thing is on Wikipedia, says that he was charged with the "attempted rape of a 1 year old girl," but that's it. Presumably he wasn't found guilty for it, but based on what he plead guilty to, it seems a distinct possibility.

I only listen to some black metal and only knew some of the stuff about Mayhem, Burzum, and Varg before reading this but didn't know anything about these other bands (except for lostprophets). Always new BM bands were hardest of the hardcore but nothing like this.
