2chainals Top Hip-Hop Hits this Year

2015 was a hell of a ride, a lot of expected and unexpected albums. This year was very different for me, I explored earlier hip-hop for most of the year so I didn't really get to keep up with the hype trains this year. Cheers!!
1Jay Rock
90059

I love this album so much, it's Jay Rock how we've never seen him before.
2Kendrick Lamar
To Pimp a Butterfly

I was in love with this album when it first came out, I was on this hype train heavy.
3Earl Sweatshirt
I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside

Depressing Rap, very different style for Earl.
4Joey Badass
B4.DA.$$

This album is great from such a young kid, can't wait to hear whats next for the kid.
5Ghostface Killah and BADBADNOTGOOD
Sour Soul

This album kills, Ray Gun with DOOM kills.
6The Underachievers
Evermore: The Art of Duality

Amazing album, I love the concept, I love the beats, and I LOVE the duo of rapping.
7Freddie Gibbs
Shadow of a Doubt

Trap production makes Freddie Gibbs shine even brighter. Freddie Gibbs coming up heavy next release.
8Vince Staples
Summertime '06

Been on the Vince Staples bandwagon since Stolen Youth, love this album even more.
9Milo
So The Flies Don't Come

Recently got into this, but man is it good as hell.
10CZARFACE
Every Hero Needs a Villain

The Inspectah Deck record we all deserved.
11Donnie Trumpet and The Social Experiment
Surf

I like the smooth, quick rapping over these soft jazz beats.
12Lupe Fiasco
Tetsuo & Youth

Didnt really get into this that heavy, it's aight.
13Mac Miller
GO:OD AM

Mac's best work, which isn't saying much.
14Travis Scott
Rodeo

Holy hell, this was one of my top 5 from halfway through the year. This album lost a TON of appeal for me. Even though I love the beat selection on this, I really don't listen to this at all anymore.
15ASAP Rocky
At.Long.Last.A$AP

I wouldn't say I hated this album, there were some really good songs on here. The album as a whole just seemed to drag on way too far.
