Batman v Superman is 1 character we know about from Man of Steel, a brand new Batman with a different background than Nolans, Aquaman will be in it out of nowhere, Wonderwomans in it out of nowhere, Lex Luthor is suddenly around. The only 2 characters you will actually understand in this whole movie will be Superman and Doomsday, there is simply not enough time in the running length to make you CARE about the 40 other heroes and villains. |

12.03.15 | This trailer is great it just suffers from what many trailers do now-a-days: revealing way too much. I know that the majority of the global public want to get psyched for the movie and know as much as possible but I would love to see a trailer for once that retained some mystery.
Interstellar's trailers were all great in that respect. Never did we see the Tesseract or any of the stuff that happens towards the later half. We didn't see anyone die, all we saw was them embarking on their adventure.
One day I hope to see a trailer that is completely mysterious and maybe doesn't even include specific movie footage but it shot just to be a trailer. |

Not really because the trailer lays out the entire plot almost beat by beat. You don't need to see the film to realize that. Sure we can't be sure EXACTLY what happens, but we have a better idea than we really should if they're trying to build hype. Which is the point of these big budget trailers. A lot of trailers have been doing that lately, which is why this is just another annoyance.
And FYI potsy I read parts of the first draft of the script so I DO have a vague idea of what happens in the final version. Scripts get around quickly here in Hollywood bud. |
