| Ultra Beatdown Rules
So yeah, I'm in the middle of writing a review for UB too. ITs their best work to date imo. So here's my top 10 DF songs. | 1 | Dragonforce Starfire
ZP's vocals are so perfect. Their best ballad and probably their best song. | 2 | The Fire Still Burns
The most epic intro you will EVER hear. And then its back to VotD-era Dragonforce. Awesomess! | 3 | Disciples Of Babylon
Super awesome fast riffing and some really cool interludes and breaks. The Bridge/solo is so cool too. | 4 | Storming The Burning Fields
One of the catchiest song in history. This song just screams amazingness from start to finish. | 5 | The Warrior Inside
Yes it has the worst title ever. Yes it IS the cheesiest song DF have ever done (That's saying something, I'm sure) but its just so upbeat and happy you can't help but be gripped. | 6 | My Spirit Will Go On
Amazing intro, as per usual. One of DF's classics to most, slightly overrated but still an awesome track. | 7 | Reasons To Live
Reminds me of 'You Suck' by SYL at first, then turns into this amazing song with some outstanding interludes and guitar work. | 8 | Revolution Deathsquad
Some of their best guitar work and great synth work too. About as heavy as tey get too tbh. | 9 | Through The Fire And Flames
I beat this song on Guitar Hero on Hard but I've never listened to it before, who is Dragonforce??? | 10 | Dawn Over A New World
A very keyboard orientated song, which is a nice chance of course. Awesome vocals and musicianship, yet again. | |

07.21.08 | So yeah, album rules for real. | Pebster49
07.21.08 | Oh for some reason I thought this was going to be joke list... | TheStarclassicTreatment
07.21.08 | Yeah I'm expecting someone to copy this list but do it as a joke list. | Arcaeus
07.21.08 | Needs moar Valley of the Damned, but otherwise, good list. I'll probably grab Ultra Beatdown off iTunes eventually when I'm done finishing up my Pain of Salvation collection, disliked Inhuman Rampage but loved Sonic Firestorm. I refuse to actually walk through a CD store with a CD with that cover. | Eakflanderyof
07.21.08 | After listening to a little bit, I would have to say that so far it's a huge improvement over anything they've done. They still have the long, boring, predictable choruses that I hate, though. They have more slower parts with actual unique, though out guitar riffs this time, though. | Serpento
07.21.08 | Hoyl shit, it IS an ultra beatdown. way for DF to have great timing on the title | Masochist
07.21.08 | Valley of the Damned definitely deserves a spot. Still, I don't mind me some DF. Suppose I should take a listen to their latest album, then? | Poet
07.21.08 | 3 and 4 are my 1 and 2 of Dragonforce songs. | jrowa001
07.21.08 | this is better than their last album, but nothing more than a 3/5 | Lunarfall
07.21.08 | The rest of the album better be better than Heroes of our Time, that was a horrible song. Obviously, I haven't bothered to download the leaked version yet. | Lunarfall
07.21.08 | By the way, what's the ballad in UB? | Yazz_Flute
07.21.08 | Soldiers of the Wasteland? :(
6 is their best imo.
And i just got UB, on my first listen and am about halfway through the second track (the fire Still Burns) You were right, intro is epic as fuck. | SHOOTME
07.21.08 | I might hear it if it's actually good. Has jesus blessed us with a good DF release? | Eakflanderyof
07.21.08 | Yeah, I forgot. This is sorely missing Soldiers of the Wasteland. It's by far DF's best song. The rest pale in comparison. | SynGates
07.21.08 | Valley of the Damned ftw | TheStarclassicTreatment
07.21.08 | A Flame For Freedom is the ballad. Also, the blasts at the start of Reasons To Live are so incredible. |
