Green Day Ranked |
12 | | Green Day iDOS!
Just a very mediocre release. The only standout track is Lazy Bones, everything else is just really poorly written. 1.5/5 |
11 | | Green Day ¡UNO!
Less bad then Dos but it's not much better either. Nuclear Family is alright. 2/5 |
10 | | Green Day iTRE!
Best in the trilogy. X-Kid and Dirty Rotten Bastards are pretty good. Everything else is meh, but not as bad as the other tracks on Uno and Dos 2.5/5 |
9 | | Green Day 21st Century Breakdown
Not as terrible as everyone says, but there isn't really anything special either. Most of the tracks are just average, but it does have standouts (Horsehes and Handgrenades, East Jesus Nowhere, American Eulogy, title track). It's good, but I don't listen to it all that much. 3/5 |
8 | | Green Day Shenanigans
Ha Ha Your Dead and Desensitized are easily some of their best. Everything else is okay. 3/5 |
7 | | Green Day Warning
A very different album from what you're used to from them. The closing four tracks are outstanding. This is a pretty fun album, and the use of acoustic guitars sounds cool on some songs, like Warning and Misery. 3.5/5 |
6 | | Green Day Kerplunk
I don't like this album as much as I like 39/Smooth, probably because some later tracks on the album tend to fade from my mind. 2,000 Light Years Away, Who Wrote Holden Caufield, Words I Might Have Ate, One for the Razorbacks, and Christie Road are all fantastic. 3.5/5 |
5 | | Green Day American Idiot
The last great Green Day album in my opinion. This album got me into the band, and it carries some of their proudest moments, such as Jesus of Suburbia and Letterbomb 3.5/5 |
4 | | Green Day Insomniac
This is such an awesome record. Panic Song is one of their best songs. 4/5 |
3 | | Green Day 39/Smooth
Some of Green Day's best songwriting is on this album. It's fun, it's simple, and it's done very well. Going to Pasalacqua and At the Library especially. 4/5 |
2 | | Green Day Dookie
Green Day's major label debut is a very strong effort and showed something that most other similar bands didn't have. Green Day is a very compact unit, and all of the members are equally important to their sound. The drumming of Tre blends perfectly with Mikes basslines, with Billie's signature vocal snarl at the helm, lyrically tackling themes of boredom, or just life in general. 4/5 |
1 | | Green Day Nimrod
To me, this is the strongest Green Day record. They utilize their talent here and make very diverse tracks, ranging from ska (King for a day), hardcore (Take Back), and even a surf rock instrumental (Last Ride In). This album is still one of my favorite albums from any group and it really showed to me that what Green Day is capable of. 4.5/5 |
