| I was just recruited by ISIS
Okay, not really, but now when I have your attention, here is a list of digs. Actually I made a very ambitious list that I just so happened to click myself away from, so everything was erased. So this will not be anywhere NEAR as good. BUT STILL.
Anyway, life lately has been a tad shitty. Everything from working too much, trouble with my love life (or lack thereof), a somewhat shitty living situation, to not being able to do the only thing I really love doing (playing music), things are somewhat bleak atm. I play in a band but we don't spend nearly enough time writing music so things are going so slowly forward. I can't practice singing because i'm at work all day, and when I get home it's way too late to sing. fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.
Anyway, list is digs, recommend me music based on these, throw me your best recs. Preferrably something melodic, sad, atmospheric stuff. | 1 | | Sadistik Flowers For My Father | 2 | | Astronautalis This Is Our Science | 3 | | The Twilight Sad Nobody Wants To Be Here And Nobody Wants To Leave | 4 | | drip-133 and back again | 5 | | No Devotion Permanence | 6 | | Little Simz A Curious Tale Of Trials + Persons | 7 | | Grouper Ruins | 8 | | How To Dress Well Love Remains | 9 | | Emancipator Seven Seas | 10 | | Lotte Kestner China Mountain | |

11.01.15 | pathetic way of grabbing attention to say that you feel sad in a list | SwanSoup
11.01.15 | Haha you guys are seriously so boring. It was a joke. I wanted a title that wasn't just another "LIST IS DIGS OCT/NOV 2015", and I like jokes that are a bit off-colour.
I'm sorry if it offended anyone, I didn't do it for the attention, I just wanted to do a list, and name it something fucked up. And no I agree, nothing ISIS do is funny.
And bagof4grapes, I could've done that as well. Great band, but nah. | Jots
11.01.15 | " I didn't do it for the attention"
"but now when I have your attention,"
everyone makes these lists for attention. it's nice to get noticed when you're feeling down. | SwanSoup
11.01.15 | Johnny: Yeah I mean get the point that you're trying to make, but I wanted to share this list, and get recs for music that works when you're feeling down, the name of the list WAS to get people to click it and rec me stuff, no doubt.
I mean, if I had titled it "Digs for october 2015" less people would click on it and you know it. :') | Jots
11.01.15 | for me, "music that works when you're feeling down" might coincide with whatever issues I'm having, but it's rarely if ever a solution. more of a band-aid fix at most. hope things get better and you address your problems constructively. anyway, Carissa's Wierd are usually my go-to autumn sadness band | p4p
11.01.15 | u need to lighten up | SwanSoup
11.01.15 | Oh no, i'm well aware of the fact that listening to sad music doesn't help when you feel like shit, but I'm somewhat of a "mood" person, like... During the spring and summer I love happy music and I feel awesome quite in general, and as soon as summer turns to autumn my taste in music just changes quite a bit. I mean obviously not completely but some releases are just better during a specific season.
I mean, I WISH i could just jam some really happy pop and just feel awesome, but that rarely happens when it's dark, cold and grey outside haha.
But no, I am working on solving my problems, it just seems a bit out of my hands at the moment, which I also realize might not be completely true. It feels that way anyhow.
