10.28.15 | i'm definitely betting on the upside with the heat. they got a ton of guys that are on that edge between just enough for a legit run/washed up and done. the thing is i don't feel like anyone beneath them has any legitimate upside to bet on.
the bucks could easily get the 6th seed and maybe even the 5th but i feel like they're definitely a year or two away from being a top 4 team. playing giannis at the 5 is cute and all but that's just not gonna be a thing against real teams. need to see me some more jabari before really committing to them being a legit team. |

I think the the Bucks are overrated. Not enough spacing. Also think the Pels are gonna disappoint (health reasons), Phoenix is gonna surprise, Utah is gonna disappoint (don't trust their backcourt, and teams will figure out how to score against that frontline), and Sacramento won't combust but just will put up a middling product (~35 wins). Indy and Detroit are on the outside looking in the East, though the Knicks will convince themselves they have a chance anyways.
Sixers will be the worst team thru the trading deadline, but they'll shop Gallo or Chandler to tank harder for Simmons and end up sneaking into the #1 seed for the lottery. |

Cause that's all it is. "Half his team is dead".. not sure what that means either. Kevin Love is playing like he did on the T-Wolves plus he is a force on defense now. Varejao is playing a great role and being very efficient. Kyrie is going to come back as one of the youngest players on the team with a lot to prove. Shump will be back and doesn't fill a stat sheet but makes a hell of a difference defensively in a defense that is already one of the leagues best. JR Smith may not be consistent but he will give you a huge spark when it matters. Delly is proving to be a good role player who give's his all every night instead of the fluke that everyone thought he was. Mo Williams brings leadership and smart play.. knows when to attack and when to facilitate. Richard Jefferson shoots the 3 ball over 40 percent and can still attack the basket at his veteran age. Should I go on? I think I could. |

It's still very early but I don't see a first round exit this year. Plus, Paul Pierce is in the West now so no worries. |
