We're back baby list is super hot fire and super official playoff picks
1Isabelle Faust/Alexander Melnikov
Sonate D.574; Rondo op.70; Fantasie D.934

Western Conference: 1. Houston Rockets - Coming off a 56 win season with a ton of injury this team should get above 60 wins easily with the addition of Ty Lawson and everyone they lost halfway through the season last year. The only concerns I see are Howard and Harden missing significant time. Harden is my MVP pick.
2Zulfaqar 'Askarian
Taknavaz Dotar

2. Golden State Warriors - The team got a slight bit better with the loss of David Lee but so did everyone else in the West. Still, Curry's ankle is the only thing keeping them from getting to the 60 mark again.
3Stephen O'Malley
Éternelle idole

3. Oklahoma City Thunder - They're a playoff team no matter what happens with KD but his form and fit with the team will determine where they place among the top 6 in the west. I see them struggling a tiny tad early on and then not quite catching up to the Rockets/Warriors despite a ridiculous 2016 record.
4Umekichi
Okunimeguri (ゃっきり節 )

4. San Antonio Spurs - Tony Parker appears to be dead and that could and should turn out to be a huge problem for them but they got Pop to figure it out and a plethora of talent to place in the top 5. My concerns with the Clippers are ultimately why I have them getting home court in the first round.
5Mojtabâ Mirzâdeh
Iranian Violin Improvising

5. Los Angeles Clippers - I don't see the Lance Stephenson/Paul Pierce additions amounting to much on the floor and while Josh Smith can make up for it in numbers he can't take the majority of the minutes at the 3. Also, CP3 is bound to miss some time and Austin Rivers is his backup.
6Adriana Lopez/Developer
Grey Report 02

6. New Orleans Pelicans - If he's to live up to the hype Anthony Davis wins 50 wins pretty much by himself. Add Gentry and the 7/8 seeds not being quite as good as the rest of the West and they should have the 6 seed by default.
7Angel-Ho
Ascension

7. Memphis Grizzlies - This team is treading water and slowly drowning. 50 wins are gonna be a tough task with how much everyone else has improved this year.
8Margaret Leng Tan
John Cage: The Perilous Night / Four Walls

8. Sacramento Kings/Utah Jazz - Both of these teams got huge problems: The Jazz are lacking guards to play meaningful minutes and the Kings have to deal with the temper of just about everyone involved with the organisation. Someone has to get the 8 seed in the West though. The Mavs will want to tank to get their top 7 protected pick, the Suns have talent but also huge question marks on the wing. The Jazz are the safer pick here with the Kings having the potential to push for 50 if everything works out while also having the potential for a tire fire of unprecedented dimensions.
9Rafael Anton Irisarri
Unsaid

Eastern Conference: 1. Atlanta Hawks - Why not the Cavs? They're missing Kyrie for now and Lebron is getting old. I don't see them caring about the #1 seed as much as they care about health. The Hawks on the other hand won 60 games last season despite injuries down the stretch. They lost Carroll which will create an issue on the wing but added Splitter and Tavares who will fix the size issues they had inside last year. They won't win 60 again because the Western Conference will not lose nearly as much against them as last year but that applies to all 15 Eastern Conference Teams so they're the safest #1 pick to me.
10Polar Inertia
Kinematic Optics

2. Cleveland Cavaliers - While they might not care enough about seeding to push for #1 they're still a team with Lebron James and Kevin Love in an atrocious Eastern Conference. I initially had them at #3 but Tristan Thompson finally signing his deal will make the 1 or 2 Win difference early on that will end up determining the difference between the #2 and #3 seed.
11Amnesia Scanner
Angels Rig Hook

3. Miami Heat - I love their roster this year but you gotta stay realistic: How much does Wade play, how does Bosh come back, can Deng still play the elite defense he played in his Bulls days and if not can anyone else step up at the 3? This might be a Melo destination.
12Floating Points
Elaenia

4. Chicago Bulls - I do not love this team this year but there is really no competition for the last home court spot in the East. Even if Derrick Rose doesn't get back to MVP level (which he won't) and Jimmy Butler doesn't step up to be that top 10 player they still have a ton of depth at every position and a group of players that knows each other very well. Fred Hoiberg's impact on this team will be something to look out for this season.
13Kaori Muraji
plays Bach

5. Washington Wizards - John Wall and Bradley Beal are getting better every year. If they can get even average outside shooting from the 4 spot with Kris Humphries or whoever else they could challenge for a higher seed. This team is definitely at least 1 big time trade away from getting anywhere near the Finals.
14Kyung-Hwa Chung
The Four Seasons

6. Indiana Pacers - I like everything I've seen from Paul George so far and forming a dangerous perimeter trio alongside Hill/Ellis will be good enough for the 6th seed, despite their lacking front court. I expect Myles Turner to have a solid rookie campaign and alleviate some of their struggles there but he's not ready to make the kinda impact needed to challenge for the Finals yet.
15Ricercar Consort/Philippe Pierlot
Aus Der Tieffen

7. Milwaukee Bucks - They got raw talent at every position but aside from Greg Monroe none of their players got the experience and polish to their game yet to be a serious contender. Jason Kidd will be the main reason they get a somewhat comfortable 7th seed.
16Yordanoff/Tétard/Desurmont/Barenboim
Messiaen: Quatuor pour la fin du temps

8. Toronto Raptors - Derozan/Ross had awful seasons last year and will have to seriously step it up which I'm afraid is not going to happen. They added Carroll who was a difference maker in the Hawks system but has yet to prove that he can replicate that success in a different environment. Kyle Lowry will have to lift this team into relevancy.
