Listening to music from horrible alive people

I'm faced with a dilemma. I hate Malevolent Creation as people as they are racially and socially intolerant scumbags, but obviously stuff like Retribution was pretty dank and their new album sounds like a major improvement on their relative crappiness in the 2000s. Would you listen to a band or composer that is still alive and that could profit from your listening if they were utterly deplorable as people? Normally I rationalize the listening of stuff from people like this because they are normally dead so they can't really benefit from your listening in any way, but when the people in question are still around I find myself a little more uncertain.
