Somewhat Disappointing Releases of 2015

Here are some releases I had been anticipating this year which imho fell a little flat. Also I'm new/ just getting back into keeping track of my music so if anyone wants to point music recs my way or say hi and be internet music friends that would be lovely! :)
1Battles
La Di Da Di

'Mirrored' was a grinning little bastard of an album - sometimes messy and overpowering but always infectious, and honestly it just made me really happy to hear something almost silly yet challenging. I still hold that energy as one of the main reasons why I got into Battles so I guess that's why all their subsequent releases have been a little disappointing to me.
2Kurt Vile
b'lieve i'm goin' down...

Kurt Vile's guitar arrangements take me to much better places than his vocal work so this left me a little underwhelmed.

Hear You

Not sure why exactly this fell a little flat for me... I guess I feel this album has less nervous energy and I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff.
4TesseracT
Polaris

I was really into Dan's previous release with the band. Perhaps my tastes have changed, or maybe it was because I had to readjust after the much higher vocal work in 'Altered State', but his vocals did nothing for me in this album (some rapping moments were rather off-putting...), and I found the band much less atmospheric than before. A little tepid, all in all.
5FKA Twigs
M3LL155X

There are some pretty ~dark and ~atmospheric parts in this release that I liked here and there... but I much prefer the sparseness of LP1, even though that was a top-heavy album.
