So I don't know if it's just me, but life is crazy.

I got married on July 5. Since then things have been ridiculous. I got attacked by aunts while we spent the first half of our honeymoon in a yurt in the mountains, the electricity went out due to a mouse chewing through the wiring, and it was a super cool time.

After that, though, things hit the fan. We went to Lake Tahoe for the latter half of the honeymoon, a good 1500 miles away. We drove my wife's Subaru there. I got strep throat the night we arrived and went to the ER (it was all that was open at 12am). They said I had a blood blister in the back of my throat and sent me away.

I woke up the next morning with strep throat, like I knew I was coming down with. I had to go back to the ER and get a throat culture and I ended up having strep. The ER billed me for both visits and now I owe $800 with insurance.

On our trip back home, my wife's car started grinding on the highway. The transmission exploded and our car caught on fire. We were in Reno, so I had no idea how to get back to Colorado.

The car was totaled and we pulled our luggage to the side of the highway and called a rental car. The rental car got a flat at 2AM in the Salt Flats 2 hours outside of Salt Lake City, Utah... no idea why, the inner-wall of the tire blew out... we didn't run anything over, just bad luck.

I changed the tire, my wife had a panic attack. It was a long day. We got home and had to move out of my old place the same day we arrived.

We couch surfed until we closed on my house. We moved in, life was cool for a few weeks. We buy my wife a new car, things seem great.

Then our plumbing in the crawlspace burst and our house flooded. All of the new carpet and flooring in the kitchen is toast. We pulled up the carpet and saved the sub-flooring. Now we have to buy new carpet/flooring.

I bought an old Jeep to replace my truck while I tried to sell my truck. My Jeep died in a parking lot, my truck died the very same day.

We Are Lonely Animals

Both vehicles needed new batteries and my truck needed an alternator. $1000. I sold my truck yesterday, but found the A/C compressor was busted as well and that needed to be replaced, so I practically just gave the vehicle away. I sunk too much money into it.

Our dryer started arcing last night. I need to pull apart the electrical J-box and see if I can fix it. Otherwise it'll catch fire at some point. We probably will need to replace it.
