09.04.15 | I'm trying to group these bands by similar sounds. Like example: Converge and botch are noise/math influenced. Poison The Well and Hopesfall are obviously more melodic with their clean singing. And the first group are definitely oldschool in their sound by just being straight up hardcore and metal |

If I'm gonna play Shai Hulud, I should play so and so because they sound more similar to them, compared to band number 2" or something along that lines. Or if I had to recommend a band to somebody, I could say "these bands" because I grouped them by a certain sound compared to a different group of bands |

I think 7A7P has a more oldschool sound, but then again they are pretty melodic compared to being straight up hardcore and metal like the others. That could make a pretty good argument. It could go either way maybe |
