Goodbye Wes Craven

I woke up this morning, turned on the news before work and couldn't believe what I was hearing. As an older kid, there was nothing I loved doing more than coming home and watching a good horror film. Of all the films that I would watch, there's two films I would always come back to; A Nightmare On Elm Street and Scream (along with the sequels). When it came to Halloween, those are the films me and my friend would always pick because we simply loved them. Only 2 months ago was I watching New Nightmare, probably the second best Elm Street related film. Rest in peace Wes Craven, you may not be around anymore but your influence on horror and slasher films is undeniable and your legacy is some of the best in the genre.
