From Best to Worst: Soilwork
In preparation for the new album, I've decided to rank their albums. I don't give a shit if you don't like the band... |
| 1 | | Soilwork A Predator's Portrait
This is one of the first albums I bought from Soilwork and it still holds up. Terrific album. |
| 2 | | Soilwork The Living Infinite
The Living Infinite really surprised me. A double album with 20 songs and they even recorded 5 additional songs on top of the ones that made the cut. This album has all the hooks and aggression that I want from Soilwork. Very satisfying from beginning to end. I wish new In Flames was this good. |
| 3 | | Soilwork Natural Born Chaos
Another classic from the band. Great to see them working with Townsend and I wish it would happen again. |
| 4 | | Soilwork Stabbing the Drama
Yes I'm aware this one divides the fanbase but it's a nostalgic choice for me and though it may not be their best work, it has many songs I love. |
| 5 | | Soilwork The Chainheart Machine
Very solid album. It might not rank as high for me as others but it still has some of their best songs. I think they only got better from here with A Predator's Portrait. |
| 6 | | Soilwork The Panic Broadcast
Great followup to the lesser Sworn to a Great Divide. This has a nice balance of the soft and heavy sides of Soilwork. Love Dirk's work behind the kit on this album. |
| 7 | | Soilwork Verkligheten
Still growing on me but I think this is the right spot for it. |
| 8 | | Soilwork The Ride Majestic
I'm still giving this one time but as of now this is where I would place it. Several tracks I really like but has some filler as well. |
| 9 | | Soilwork Steelbath Suicide
A good debut with several notable tracks including Sadistic Lullaby. |
| 10 | | Soilwork Sworn to a Great Divide
I do like several of the songs on here a lot but overall the album doesn't keep my attention as much as most of their other releases. |
| 11 | | Soilwork Figure Number Five
Bjorn says it's the worst and who am I to argue... |
