5 Albums I Grew Up With, But Still Enjoy

Title pretty much says it all.
1Weezer
Weezer

The only time I'd give a childhood album a 5. Just perfect emo rock.
2Taking Back Sunday
Louder Now

Usually, pop punk is bad. But when it's done good, then it's damn good. This album catches the catchiness and appeal of pop music, mixes it with the "whatever" tone of punk, and then for an added kick takes some emo inspiration. It's nothing too spectacular but it's still a fun album.
3Eminem
The Marshall Mathers LP

Easily his best work. He displays a good flow and shows he's actually talented as a rapper. Sure his other works after this kinda blow, but this is still a stand out record.

Hear me out on this one. I was a little fella (7 or so), who wanted to stand out, to be cool. This style of hard rock made me feel cool. Sure today it feels kinda weak, but it just reminds me of all the good times of 2nd and 3rd grade. Guilty pleasure for sure.
5Blink-182
Blink-182

What a breath of fresh air. These guys finally ditched the whole Green Day clone thing to define their own sound. Sure this album is a 3 at best, but it's still a fun little piece. Tell me someone you know who doesn't sing along to Tom's verse on I Miss You?
