Black Metal: Beyond the Norm

I just felt like listing black metal albums that I feel get overshadowed by inferior material or simply ignored.
1Fullmoon
United Aryan Evil (Demo)

One of the top three items to ever come out of Poland. The other two are Following the Voice of Blood and Polish sausage
2Fleurety
Min Tid Skal Komme

The best left-field black metal release ever.
3Dawn
Nær Solen Gar Nider For Evogher

One of the finest examples of melodic black metal.
4Aeternus
Dark Sorcery

Ignored in favor of the two albums after, which are also brilliant. This debut EP is just as strong.
5Hades Almighty
The Dawn Of The Dying Sun

Viking black metal perfection.
6Primordial
A Journey's End

This is when they were good, before Nemtheanga adopted his "heroic" vocals and then they jumped to traditional doom. Primordial's first 4 reign supreme in their discography, with this and Spirit the Earth Aflame at the top.
7Helheim
Av Norrøn Ætt

The band that out Viking'd Enslaved with one album.
8Hate Forest
Battlefields

The finest thing Roman whateverhisname was a part of. Yes, better than his other band, Drudkh
9Hirilorn
Legends of Evil and Eternal Death

A melodic black metal masterpiece. Unfortunately the band members then formed the inferior Deathspell Omega. Such is life.
10Negura Bunget
'N Crugu Bradului

The band's magnum opus. This should not be forgotten because of the shortcomings of Dordeduh and the current output of Negura Bunget
