I don't think the songs are about one person. To me it kind of plays out like half remembered moments from Keith's adolescence and early adulthood, I think a lot of the negative language is directed at himself

The lyrics on WITTMF mostly just sound cool and help evoke emotion I think, and have a broader meaning that can be more personalized
