Some Artists I've Surprisingly Never Listened To

So yeah, despite my gazillion album ratings from acts ranging from good to absolutely awful, there are still some very popular groups that I've yet to hear. Lemme know if they are any good, I stopped paying for Spotify a long time ago and wanna see if it's worth using any form of streaming again.
1Bathory
Bathory

Okay, this might come as a shock but black metal was never my thing. Just seems too obnoxious even for my liking. I hear Bathory are pretty accessible as black metal goes being first wave and all.
2Blue Cheer
Vincebus Eruptum

Supposedly the progenitors of heavy metal, yeah, them and like 30 other bands. I've been looking to get into more proto-metal but I find it a bit crappy compared to what came later and I usually make a great effort to take things as they are.
3Devo
Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo!

Yeah, maybe people here aren't the least bit surprised that I am unfamiliar with Devo but a lot of my friends like them, just never been interested.
4Iron Butterfly
In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida

Another piece of proto-metal/ psychedelic rock that is considered a landmark but I never got around to. I'm only familiar with the title-track of this album.
5Killers
Menace to Society

No not the post-punk revivial band from Vegas, but a metal band Paul Di'Anno formed some time after being booted from Maiden. I do my best to keep up with side projects or new projects of former band members but this is something I haven't found the time for yet.
6 Tom Jones
It's Not Unusual

Yeah, everyone knows this guy's name but I've yet to even listen to a full album of his.
7Faces
First Step

I know one song about these guys because it was in an ad a few years back, also I'm aware Rod Stewart was the singer. Speaking of whom...
8Rod Stewart
Tonight I'm Yours

Have actually seen him live but I only knew like two songs that he played. Not really my bag but I hear his old stuff is okay.
9MC5
Back In The USA

Another old-timey band that I really should hear, just haven't gotten around to yet.
10The Traveling Wilburys
Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1

Yup, I have no excuses, need to get on this shit.
11REO Speedwagon
REO Speedwagon

Yeah these guys neither
