Korn Ranked

A pretty influential band in the hard rock/NU-metal realm, despite the hatred they seem to receive by so many lately. Obviously they were breaking through the most from the mid to late 90's, but they have still managed to release 7 albums in the last 15 years which have been extremely varied and experimental as well as scattered and uninspired at times. I love this band, and enjoy every album they have put out for its own individuality and identity. I honestly hope they keep going to release 20 albums.
1Korn
Korn

This album is purely raw adrenaline and emotion. Ross Robinson and the band created a monster that changed shit up in 1994. I can only imagine what was going through their heads making this. Truly an innovative album with such a unique sound that really hadn't been unleashed yet. This is a classic album. 5/5
2Korn
Issues

Fresh off of releasing freak on a leash they released this in 99. Probably their darkest and most disturbing album. 4.4/5
3Korn
Follow the Leader

During the ''nu metal'' glory days this was the aggressive, rebellious, and rowdy album that had kids going nuts all over. Instrumentally this might be them at their best. 4.3/5
4Korn
Life Is Peachy

This sophomore album is a bit overlooked as t still has the Ross Robinson rawness that the debut had. It just really didn't get the recognition it deserved in 1996 for whatever reason. Very insane spastic album. Maybe their most underrated album. 4.2/5
5Korn
Untouchables

This is around the time they started breaking out of their shell a bit more and exploring some weird but good territory. it was 2002 and the nu metal craze was cooling off a bit. A really interesting album with some great atmosphere. after this their was an undeniable drop in quality though imo. 4/5
6Korn
The Paradigm Shift

Fast forward to 2013 when Korn is pretty much irrelevant to most after releasing 3 bizarre yet decent albums. They try to get back to their roots with Head rejoining the band and have successful enough results. This album actually has some very great songs on it that really do bring you back to that original korn sound at times. I was surprised by this. 3.7/5
7Korn
See You on the Other Side

In 2006 they were starting to fade into oblivion a bit with the departure of head but then released an album that was somewhat experimental. Other than the god awful coming undone and twisted transistor this album is another underrated offering. 3.5/5
8Korn
The Path of Totality

Probably their most hated album due to the dubstep experimentation. I actually thought it meshed incredibly well though the audibility of actual instrumentation was almost non existent. Still has some really underrated songs full of unique melody. 3.4/5
9Korn
Take a Look in the Mirror

They kind of lost direction a bit with this, maybe because they were getting a little burnt out of each other idk. has some decent songs but then seems very uninspired throughout. 3.2/5
10Korn
Untitled

Really really fucking odd yet maybe their most experimental. This has taken some time to get used to but once i did, it became a pretty hauntingly cool korn album, though it is lacking a lot. 3/5
11Korn
Korn III: Remember Who You Are

They went back into the studio in 2010 with Ross Robinson to recreate that rawness in the sound, however what came out was a uneven oddity with some decent tracks. 2.8/5
