Favorite albums i found this year

In 2015 Many things have changed in my life for the better, and the music i have found is a part of why 2015 has been alot better than 2014 so far. Im really bad at explaining why music is good so you should really just listen to the music instead but only if you're into Death/Power/Folk metal and if you're not thats fine but this list consists only of that, more or less.
1Civil War
The Killer Angels

So I was getting back into Sabaton, and I discovered the band Civil War which was formed by 4 members of Sabaton that left in 2012. I already knew that they left and formed a new band, but I wasn't really interested until now. When I first heard them I didn't think I'd Like any other song than Rome is Falling, but I said what the hell and listened to the rest of the album, and became addicted to it. Love this album to death, adore the vocal style and the overall sound of everything in this album, and I'm really excited for their new album coming out this month. Civil War has become one of the bands that i love everything from, and Im really happy they exist.

Favorite songs: Rome is Falling, Brother Judas, St. Patrick's Day
2Equilibrium
Sagas

So this is a thing, my brother noticed that I had been listening to Civil war and gave me a bunch of music tips, and this really came as a huge surprise to me, but a really good one at that. 10/10

Favorite songs: Unbesiegt, Mana, Heimwärts
3Amon Amarth
Deceiver of the Gods

Im not completely new to Amon Amarth, but I was a scrub and couldn't handle listening to too much growling, and now there is growling in more than 50% of what I listen to. Their songs all have the theme of Norse mythology, and that's been a favorite subject of mine for god knows how long. So Amon Amarth is growing alot on me and Im hyped to see what they're going to be releasing in the future.

Favorite songs: Blood Eagle, Deceiver of the Gods, Shape Shifter
4Equilibrium
Erdentempel

Equilibrium again, yes they take up about 21% of the only playlist Im listening to right now and that's because they're fantastic, the blend of folk metal and black metal is something I enjoy alot. I don't care much for Black Metal because it's dark, empty and depressive to listen to, Equilibrium is really the opposite most of the time, their music is uplifting when it needs to be and dark when it needs to be. This album is fantastic, and I love it to the last song. it didn't beat Sagas though, unfortunately.

Favorite songs: Heavy Chill, Apokalypse, Karawane, Waldschrein
5Turisas
Stand Up and Fight

Turisas kinda goes under the same sheet as Amon Amarth, even though their themes are mostly about the Varangian Guard but nevertheless, a great album which I find myself constantly going back to. I really love one of their other albums too: The Varangian Way, but Stand Up and Fight is better IMO

Favorite songs: Stand Up And Fight, End Of An Empire, The Great Escape
6Civil War
Gods And Generals

So this just released today, and I knew I'd enjoy it because Civil war is my favorite band at the moment and i have a huge positive bias towards them, but nevertheless a masterfully executed album with overall great sound, especially love the bagpipes on the track The Mad Piper.

Favorite songs: Bay Of Pigs, USS Monitor, Admiral Over The Oceans
