04.17.15 | i'd have given my right eye to be part of the U.S educational system growing up. Walking into double maths carrying a firearm is the stuff of dreams. |

04.17.15 | I think it's hilarious how teaching is the one career where everyone thinks they can do. Just because you went through an education system doesn't mean you know jack shit about it. Just because your kid is in the education system doesn't mean you know jack shit about it. Just because your friend teaches in the education system doesn't mean you know jack shit about it. That's like saying "I went to court once so I could be a lawyer". |

04.17.15 | Depends on where you live in the US, some schools are way better than others and vice versa. Also keep in mind that our education quality varies on a state-to-state and city-to-city basis since America is a huge country, so judging the thing as a composite whole is a terrible idea
Btw Sweden's system is the best system that ever existed |

04.17.15 | yeah I def prefer the structure and prices of English universities. American universities are just bloodsucking businesses 90% of the time |
lyzakthellama
04.17.15 | It's hard to generalize the American education system because it varies depending on where you're looking at and what classes are provided. I was lucky enough to go to one of the biggest high schools in the nation and was given a lot of opportunities but there is a stark difference between my school and the schools in Dallas just 15ish miles away |
ChoccyPhilly
04.17.15 | @shark I have a swedish friend who did an exchange year in the UK and she says the british education system is better ^^
I don't like how you still generalise in american universities. It's much better in UK universities or EU universities where you just do one subject you love. If not, it just feels like a very expensive extension of school |

04.17.15 | In America we educate these kids that never worked a day in H.S. then those kids go on to college, between loans, trust funds, etc. a lot of those kids never work a job. They graduate and have all of this "theory" knowledge without any work ethic or determination. As soon as something doesn't go right they freak out and quit. We have raised a nation of lazy ass know-it-all's. I've went through multiple college aged kids at the Graphic Arts shop I run and they all have had the same issues. Oh and they don't know how to communicate with customers. Not sure if it's the same everywhere but it seems like this is largely the case here in USA. |

04.17.15 | "Educational system," yeah, it's shit. |

04.17.15 | Both have their pros and cons, but the great thing about American liberal arts schools is the fact that the class sizes are generally way smaller than those in European universities. I am in college trig right now (a class that loads of majors have to take), and there are only around 15 people in there, and my intro Political Science course from a couple of years ago had 11 at the start of the semester. Larger universities have larger classes in massive lecture halls, but there aren't many smaller universities with smaller classes in western Europe (from what I've read). |

05.09.20 | I don't have a strong opinion to the right or left as a whole, but I feel like the minimum wage complaints are ridiculous. They're minimum skill jobs that anyone can do, and you're not going to be a valuable asset to them so it makes sense getting low pay. |

Anyone here play it? So far, it's really good. Another example of Blizzard quality. The game is visually gorgeous and colorful without being obnoxious, and the music fits the game well. It's fairly balanced, with only Lucio and McCree standing out as overpowered. Most of the maps are great, spare Volskaya and Route 66. Recommended if you have the money. The game is fast paced and extremely fun. Make sure to play with a group, though. Game kinda blows solo sometimes. |
