Vinyl collection
My collection is pretty small and haphazard because I essentially just grab any album I love that happens to appear before me, except for a small handful that I got shipped down under. That also means there aren't any hard-to-find records in there (which also comes with the absurd price tag, so I'm not going down that road yet), but I still enjoy all of these on a semi-regular basis. If you know me and can recommend a particular artist/album that's worth getting a hold of, let me know, I'd really appreciate it. |
| 1 | | A Perfect Circle Thirteenth Step |
| 2 | | Atheist Unquestionable Presence
Transparent green |
| 3 | | Banks Goddess |
| 4 | | Bon Iver For Emma, Forever Ago |
| 5 | | Burial Untrue
Those warm crackles mmmmm |
| 6 | | Converge All We Love We Leave Behind |
| 7 | | The Cure Disintegration |
| 8 | | Cynic Traced in Air
Transparent blue |
| 9 | | David Bowie Lodger |
| 10 | | David Bowie Pin Ups
Going to add a lot of Bowie to this collection in time. |
| 11 | | Deafheaven Sunbather
One pink vinyl, one yellow vinyl |
| 12 | | Death Symbolic
White |
| 13 | | Esoteric The Maniacal Vale |
| 14 | | Explosions in the Sky The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place
Even though these are plain black vinyls, one face of disc 2 wasn't required so there's etchings of birds scrawled across it. Looks really nice |
| 15 | | Fleet Foxes Helplessness Blues |
| 16 | | Frank Turner Love, Ire & Song |
| 17 | | Gates Bloom and Breathe
Clear w/ blue and green splatter |
| 18 | | Godspeed You! Black Emperor F#A#(Infinity) [Vinyl]
I don't consider myself a huge Godspeed fan, but most of my record listening happens when I get time at home to study, so post-rock and folk get a lot more playtime than the heavier records. These 3 are on constant rotation. |
| 19 | | Godspeed You! Black Emperor Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven |
| 20 | | Godspeed You! Black Emperor Slow Riot For New Zero Kanada |
| 21 | | John Coltrane A Love Supreme |
| 22 | | Kanye West The College Dropout
Not sure if I got a shitty pressing, but the quality on this one isn't great. Or is that a thing with a lot of hip-hop records? |
| 23 | | M83 Hurry Up, We're Dreaming |
| 24 | | Mastodon Crack the Skye |
| 25 | | Miles Davis Kind of Blue |
| 26 | | Minor Threat Minor Threat |
| 27 | | The National Alligator
Yellow |
| 28 | | The National Boxer
Yellow |
| 29 | | The National High Violet
Violet. Going to go through and obtain the discography once I get a reasonable amount of disposable income. |
| 30 | | Opeth Blackwater Park |
| 31 | | Pianos Become the Teeth The Lack Long After
Beige. This was the first vinyl I ever bought, got it at one of their gigs. |
| 32 | | Pink Floyd A Momentary Lapse of Reason |
| 33 | | Pink Floyd Animals |
| 34 | | Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here |
| 35 | | Radical Face The Family Tree: The Branches
Only reason I haven't bought The Roots is because I'm waiting for a trilogy set. |
| 36 | | Sadistik Flowers For My Father |
| 37 | | Sufjan Stevens Illinois
Going to add Carrie and Lowell to the collection very soon. |
| 38 | | Swans To Be Kind |
| 39 | | The Smith Street Band No One Gets Lost Anymore
Tri-color (green, white, blue). Easily my favorite looking vinyl out of everything I own. |
| 40 | | The Smith Street Band Sunshine and Technology
Mango Splatter |
| 41 | | The Smith Street Band Throw Me in the River
Orange-black splatter |
| 42 | | The Tallest Man on Earth There's No Leaving Now |
| 43 | | Thursday No Devolucion |
| 44 | | Tool Lateralus
Picture disc |
| 45 | | Wil Wagner Laika
Clear w/ yellow and blue splatter |
| 46 | | The Chariot Long Live
I would include my cd/dvd collection, but that would take a long time so naahhhhh. I don't have very many records just yet, but it's a fun little hobby. Still intending to get the Gorguts reissues and something by Nujabes (fuck that price tag, but god I want it so bad). |
