Gwyn. 01.27.16	The first ep was kind of ridiculously convoluted even by the series' standards and the build up being left unresolved in the next ep (They don't find out what happened to Svetta) was really silly, the excessive monologuing got obnoxious. But it did capture the essence of the series, even though it was the series in its weakest moments. The second ep tho is not far away from the classics, it was clever, paced well and as it always should be, it was about the mystery and leaving just enough open questions to keep the viewer interested just like most of the series' best episodes did. I can now say I'm absolutely looking forward to the rest of the mini series and it's the rest of the episodes are as good as this second one (I've read that the third one is even better) then I am on board with them returing to a full season series like they said they'd do if the ratings are successful.

Highly unlikely that it will go back to full seasons, they pretty much had to beg Gillian Anderson to do 6 episodes and David Duchovny said he's not at a point in his life where he could do a full one. I could see them doing a yearly miniseries or maybe going to a half season at the most.

Rowan5215 02.09.16	I'm mixed on the trashman one, the central mystery was pretty boring and the whole homeless guilt thing felt super forced and generally unpleasant, but the scenes with Scully's mother and the last scene were beautiful

Rowan5215 02.09.16	Yeah they didn't even really solve anything - the trashman killed another guy and then - it's over??? ok I mean I don't mind an episode where Mulder and Scully lose, in fact it happens a lot and it provides some nice dramatic tension that they're not always winning, but there should at least be some fallout that we see rather than everything just kind of being ok it was cool seeing Tim Armstrong tho

I thought that was a pretty damn good finale. they tied up some of those loose ends still hanging from the end of season 9 and kept me entertained throughout. Only thing i hated was that Tad O'Malley internet host douche, I mean i think it's a decent way to kinda propel/narrate the story but the execution could of been a lot better. I think the episode could of been longer too.

Nocturnalize 02.23.16	"Spoiler" The TRUTH of the matter is Mulder is actually crazy. The FBI let him work there because he is good and his father is the head of the elite syndicate. Scully is his personal FBI Doctor. The actual plan is to stop his father and the elite to depopulate the planet and to create a fake alien invasion. It's like the movie Shutter Island. It will be revealed in the final episode.

CSM saves Mulder by giving him a transplant in the alien ship, which I assume William will be involved in. They spread the vaccine around as fast as they can and things go pretty much back to normal (I don't see CC having the balls to do a full-on world's end apocalypse scenario), they fight to keep William but he decides to go with CSM for reasons and they disappear for the next 5 episodes. how bout you

CrazyDiamond7 02.23.16	Just got into it with the revival. I've always wanted to check the show out but for whatever reason never got around to it. It's been hit and miss, but overall pretty good. Particularly the lizard man episode. Supposedly if the show were to continue it would focus on Miller and Einstein. This would suck imo, as I didn't like either of them much, and the X-files wouldn't be the X-files w/o Mulder and Scully.
GmemberKills 02.23.16	I can totally see them eventually trying to continue the show with Miller and Einstein as the new main characters. Which would be awful. I think those two characters just come across as younger more shallow versions of Mulder and Scully.
