02.04.15 | anyone else play this gem? |

02.04.15 | I remember I bought a double pack of both this and Shadow of the Colossus, unfortunately I never had the chance to play this game because I had to move soon after and sell off all of my PS3 stuff. Thankfully I was able to play and complete Shadow of the Colossus and that was one of the most beautiful games I've ever played, so I suspect Ico must be spectacular too. I think the developers have a new game coming out where you're a young kid again and you have a giant pet wolf or something. I can't remember much about it, but I think I saw a trailer or some images of the game and it looks just as spectacular as Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. |

02.04.15 | yeah man Shadow is terrific, haven't finished yet because i'm playing through it with a friend of mine who's at a different college, but the new one you're thinking of is The Last Guardian, been in production since 2007 but still no word on a release date or anything :/ |

02.04.15 | When I was into PS3 a few years back, this is one of the games I wanted to get but never did. |
ZombicidalMan
02.04.15 | Even though Shadow of the Colossus is amazing, I might actually prefer Ico. It's just such a fun and interesting game, and even though it can be challenging, it never felt frustrating (SotC sometimes became annoying). And the very idea of hauling around a helpless NPC is just mind-blowing, I don't know how they made an escort quest into an entire game *without* ruining it. |

02.04.15 | Yeah dude I might say the same, if you just let yorba go and watch her, she'll start to chase doves and stuff, really cool. The fact that the game is so sparse and there is just so little to the game while it still manages to hit you so hard emotionally toward the end... it's crazy. |

02.04.15 | I love simplicity in video games. Have any of you ever played Journey on the PS3? I swear, that's probably the most emotional I have ever gotten while playing through a game. I could literally feel my heart trying to burst through my chest during the ending, I couldn't believe how much of an impact that game left on me. I'll never forget that game... just like how I'll never forget Burnout 3: Takedown for its amazing soundtrack and Road Rage mode. Love that game. :D |

02.04.15 | Yeah I've heard a ton about journey, was gonna download that today actually. Seemed really Team Ico-y |

02.04.15 | It's an amazing game. The interaction with other players is really unique too. You never know who you're communicating with and you only have one button to communicate with, but, depending on how long you hold it, each call sounds different. I'd recommend the game for the interactions alone, but the overall journey you go on is simply beautiful. I love the game so much, quite possibly the best game I've ever played. I was never so happy to take a chance with a game than I was with that one. Really inspiring stuff. |

02.04.15 | shadow is one of those games that just marks you, and i sadly left ico around the half :c i have to finish it sometime i guess.
have any of you played to the moon?? man, the feels... |
TumsFestival
02.04.15 | Highly recommend finishing, only takes around 5 hours to finish on the first play through. The second half's puzzles feel
considerably more developed than the first half.
Haven't played to the moon, haven't actually even heard of it |

05.14.15 | been over 3 months since I finished ICO and this game sticks with you in the absolute best way |

05.14.15 | Great game, always highly rated. I enjoyed it immensely back in the day. Now you'll have to play the unofficial sequel (or spiritual successor perhaps) Shadow of the Colossus. |
TumsFestival
05.14.15 | yeayea I played that first actually, but didn't finish it, then finished ICO, then finished Shadow. Both are 2 of the best games I've ever played, and easily the most emotionally gripping.
I'm in the minority that likes ICO more, however |

05.14.15 | Sorry should have read closer yah they are both great. |

05.14.15 | played Colossus, I'm with you bought the double HD pack on ps3. didn't finish ico |
demigod!
05.14.15 | yeah i really need to pick up that collection some time, only ever hear good things about both games. SOTC seems like it would get a bit tiring, though. 16 or so bosses in a row? yikes
also im in love with this list |
TumsFestival
05.14.15 | There were originally 48 colossi but the ps2 obviously couldn't handle that ahah. It's not tiring, since the bosses are very diverse, each its own specific puzzle to be solved. There aren't any minions to face, either. Just all boss battles, which only increases the grand nature of it
Also thank you about the list, 1 and specifically the song Stepfather Factory from 5 are very emotional to me. I connect ICO to 1 subconsciously for some reason. |
