BigPleb 01.26.15	I enjoyed every game bar 6 on this list. Any opinions?
JokineAugustus 01.26.15	DAMN dude! Its almost as good as 4, and probably the creepiest game I've played, other than Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. (Also for the Gamecube)
Veldin 01.26.15	My friend and I have been both playing it and it's definitely worth it for a RE fan. The gamecube was already a fantastic reimagining and this HD remake just sharpens everything.
Veldin 01.26.15	Eternal Darkness is really hard to find... I've also been playing through RE2 for the first time and attempting to beat RE4 on Pro.

renegadestrings 01.26.15	Buy it. some of my best gamecube memories came from being terrified playing RE. some of the gameplay mechanics are limiting, but it's all about the thrill. and truthfully, the game is a testament to how far the gamecube could be pushed graphically.
BigPleb 01.26.15	Apparently there have been full analog controls added to the HD remaster, with the option to revert back to the original tank controls.

BigPleb 01.26.15	I only played a little of RE6 and it doesn't seem awful, the AI was responsive for one thing! RE3 is underrated I think, running away from the nemesis creature was terrifying and you never knew when he was gonna show up.

Veldin 01.26.15	RE6 wasn't THAT bad, but it was underwhelming. Revelations is enjoyable and the episodic nature of Revelations 2 seems interesting. Just fought off the creature in the cabin in this remake.
JokineAugustus 01.26.15	"Eternal Darkness is really hard to find" I managed to luck out and find it for 30 bucks, though I got a discount because they screwed up my order the first time, so it was actually 20 bucks. Bought RE 0 with it as well. Still haven't finished either game though.

Gyromania 01.26.15	the reremake is hands down the best resident evil game veldin come on, 6 is complete dog shit. trite story, boring and cliched characters, more emphasis on unrealistic action events, bland locations and poor detailing, etc.

BigPleb 01.27.15	I like feeling on edge when playing RE games. The fixed camera angles in the older games worked perfectly as you never knew what was going to be in the next section. It made for some pretty frustrating controls at times but it was all part of th experience. RE4 blended the tension of the early games with a much better control system and overall better story. Oh, and Leon is a pure badass!
swagb0b 01.27.15	REmake is 10/10. no question. RE4 could be there, but the setting kinda fluctuates too much in terms of extremities.
BigPleb 01.27.15	If there was one downside to RE4 it was that the castle was undoubtedly the best part. Everything else is really good but man, the look of the castle and tight corners you'd find yourself in just made everything feel so frantic. I genuinely found some of the castle parts to be the hardest in game too, especially when you have to fight off like 20+ of those weird zombie monks, all the while keeping Ashley safe.

BigPleb 01.27.15	I think it tires slightly towards the end, no game is really perfect tbh but I can play through RE4 anytime. Aw dude the village, the music that plays when the villagers are around! Shit myself first time playing through that chapter.

TheSpaceMan 01.27.15	I think the village was the best part of RE4, sets the scene perfectly with the atmosphere and unsettling vibes, the chainsaw guys + sisters were downright horrifying 1st time and Mendez is probably my favorite boss fight ever. the nostalgia from this part of the game is just huge for me castle is fucking dope too though with the twisted architecture, monks always chanting, the sewer part with the bugs and salazar's right hand (that boss was one of the few actually terrifying parts for me on the first run).
DungeonBoy 01.27.15	I thought this game was a remake of the ps1 game. Is the Gamecube RE a remake of the ps1 game or is it a different story? Either way I'm stoked, I didn't really care for 6 all that much but I really enjoyed 1, 2, 4, and 5 was pretty fun.

TheSpaceMan 01.27.15	regenerators were scary yeah and "it" was fun and krauser was pretty cool (esp that tense knife fight) but the militia enemy was retarded. the minigun guy was no where near as fun as dr salvador or even half as scary and the music switched to this weird fast tempo bongos which made no sense and by this point in the game you have every weapon maxed with like all the ammo ever. plus the final boss was a huge let down. i think it would have been perfect if the entire island section was replaced with the cruise ship from RE Revelations and they just stuck the regenerators, "it" and krauser on it too (: thatd make an honest to god perfect game

So same story as the PSone version, just with slightly sharper graphics. Quite like the control scheme that lets you run without having to hold a button, too. Makes it easier to evade zombies.
DrGonzo1937 01.28.15	That is a lame excuse which I hear constantly. It's still scary as hell regardless of "shitty" controls. But even if you don't like it that way, you can revert it back to the classic scheme. It's a different approach to the game, and when you've bought the game already and are pay more money I want stuff that add to the experience. That being one of them.

PayneTiger777 01.28.15	This game is fantastic. I'm almost done with Chris's play-through. Jill's is too easy for me cause you don't have to fight Plant 42 and she gets more items, plus a grenade launcher. Crimson Head zombies are still the scariest enemies ever.
