DrGonzo1937: Why The Castlevania Lords Of Shadow Trilogy Was Done Very Wrong

Titan 01.16.15	By far my favorite video game franchise growing up. Lords Of Shadows is so disappointing agreed.

DrGonzo1937 01.16.15	I can understand that from someone that started off on the 2D games wouldn't be taken to LoS, but I actually thought they did a pretty good transition to 3D.
TheSonomaDude 01.16.15	I played the first one and found it fairly boring. Never got past the giant ice statue guy in the frozen lake due to how long and tedious the battle is. I just lost interest in the game.

Sabrutin 01.16.15	I haven't played much Castlevania but I have SOTN and yeah it's fantastic. Portrait of Ruin for the DS was also pretty nice, imo. I bought LOS on a Steam sale but I still have to play it. Given that I'm not a hardcore fan of the series, I hope to enjoy it more than you guys.

EvoHavok 01.16.15	Since I had never played any 'true' Castlevania, I had quite a blast with CLOS 1 and 2. Watched Mirror of Fate cutscenes on Youtube. It's true the story could've been told better. Nice blog entries.

Wizardboi 01.16.15	None of the 3D games were very fun:( playing Harmony of dissonance right now.
Angelboros 01.16.15	I remember Curse of Darkness like it was yesterday; spending about one to three hours playing it via Xbox is nostalgia worth revisiting. The game's level design might've been bleak, though it at least suited the atmosphere, and the music handled by Michiru Yamane had me speechless. That Innocent Devil system seemed a bit off at first, but I think the game in the end would've felt more awkward without it considering the rest of the mechanics. More than what could be said about Judgment, anyway...
