I remember being really hype about First Temple when it came out. After giving that a huge amount of listens, I had very little to hold me over until 2014's Pink Lemonade. Though the sound is hugely different, Closure in Moscow is still clearly insane, energetic, and fun as helllllllllll. Mark Kozelek and company's latest release features the most unified set of songs the group has released yet. Once listeners have gotten accustomed to Kozelek's unique delivery, it's hard to listen to anything other than his incredibly detailed yet strikingly human and organic stories. | |
