Friday13th 12.29.14	Gonna have to jam at least once more. The two epics on Banquet are the highlights, but overall Anomaly is more proggy and interesting throughout.
SCREAM! 12.29.14	Although it tries too hard to sound dark (lol that spoken word part) I definitely enjoy the music on 1 more. Again though, two very solid albums. Not a bad album in this contest yet!

manosg 12.29.14	Probably hardest round for me until now. Spanish Galleon is amazing and John Lawton is a great vocalist. However, I used to enjoy Banquet more in the past. On the other hand, I love Anomaly's atmosphere even though it feels a bit weird at places but it feels more proggy and interesting as Friday noted. So my vote goes to 1.

Jethro42 12.29.14	Friday, you have the knack to match the bands together well. Here we find two bands with a brass section. While Banquet is an energetic jazz rock a la Santana at places (like SCREAM just said), and it's also very upbeat and moving, overall I prefer the melodic and more proggy sound of Anomaly, so I vote 1.

Friday13th 12.30.14	Alright, I've had trouble deciding so here's my analysis. McLuhan sounds overall more adventurous, but it also has some awful lyrics and spoken word bologna. Banquet has higher highs with the longer tracks, but a couple of typical 70s pop rock songs like "High Flying Lady" that sound very lame. However, one thing tips me in favor of Banquet. Along with the obvious 20th Century Fox theme, the constant circus tunes and nursery ditties that are peppered in Anomaly are very suspect of being lifted from somewhere else and are not very appealing. Either way, "Spanish Galleon" is something I will continually come back to enjoy so I'm going with the underdog here. 6-1, and can I count you with me, MrSirLordGentleman? TWIG?

The albums is great after that though. Lucifers has Spanish Galleon.....Spanish Galleon is amazing and as a result clinches the vote for me.
