PappyMason 11.30.14	Great list. 17 is a personal favourite of mine and 10 is spectacular - I love Robert Mitchum's performance in that, and the cinematography. So many of Hitchcock's films during this decade were extraordinary. Vertigo, amazing. North by North West, exceptional. Strangers on a Train... the list could go on.

Alastor 12.01.14	I just realized Kurosawa made nearly a film a year during the 50s, with nearly all of them becoming classics. Personally I'd prefer The Hidden Fortress, Throne Of Blood and The Lower Depths over Rashomon.

TheBarber 04.21.15	is Street Of Shame really good? looked like one of those pre 60's classics that are almost unwatchable now (like Les Diaboliques for me tbh)
JWT155 04.21.15	Ben Hur, literally the definition of the cinematic epic. Fantastic film.
