4 - check Umberto Eco's "On Writing" also peppered throughout some of Foster Wallaces non-fiction there is a lot of good info regarding his process too. Outside of books, the new Nick Cave documentary details the creative process very well.

If you have good writing skills coupled with a good imagination and/ or perception there's a very broad range of sectors you could thrive in: marketing (copywriter), journalism, work in innovation bureaus (trendwatching), try selling your own books (risky), ...
Writing skills are an important asset, one that is not as likely to be replaced as others in this digital age. |
