| New Revolver Tracklist
wanted to make a new tracklist for Revolver that included the 2 b-sides
recorded before the album was released. Rain and Papaerback Writer are
two of the best Beatles songs... how those 2 got left out and Dr Robert and
Yellow Submarine stayed is beyond me. comment below a new tracklist
where those 2 songs could be placed inside the original tracklist but not
just haphazardly like actually flow well and shit. ok thanks | | 1 | | The Beatles Revolver | | 2 | | The Beatles Revolver | | 3 | | The Beatles Revolver | |

11.12.14 | You should have nixed Doctor Robert while you're at it. | ArsMoriendi
11.12.14 | Well I felt like "Paperback Writer" should be an early track on the album, but I didn't want it touching another Paul track.
As for "Rain", I couldn't find a good place for it one the second half, also with the addition of "Paperback Writer" there was 4-non Lennon tracks in a row and "Rain" breaks that up.
Also, "Yellow Submarine" isn't amazing, but it's iconic enough to where It would be terrible if it wasn't on the album. "Doctor Robert" is a tribute to Bob Dylan, so nixing it wouldn't be cool. | Onirium
11.12.14 | I'd put Paperback Writer after I'm only Sleeping, as a reminder of the more rock sound of Taxman; it could help the flow of the
first couple of tracks which are all very different. It could also work well as an opener though. And Rain for me would be after
And Your Bird can Sing, I don't know it just seems to fit great there, it could change the pace of side 2 a little. Doctor Robert is
a cool song though, it's definitely one of the weaker tracks but personally I'd keep it on the album | IronGiant
11.12.14 | like your placement too Onrium and great reasoning Ars. Personally, I think Taxman needs to be the opener. the count off is too iconic and sets the pace for the rest of the album. other than touching the bookends though, everything else is fair game to switch around imo |
