10.13.14 | @toro- the atmosphere mainly. it was a slow burner but i was gripped every second of the way which is rare for me in long movies. the tension was perfectly built throughout until the climax and the end was just haunting. also the acting was phenomenal, gyllenhaal in particular was perfect. imo of course |

dark city is one of those thriller sci fi movies, plot is amazing and the background is top notch.. like a modern gotham city
city of life and death is based on the japanese war crimes during WWII, subtle and disturbing, the cinematography is superb
ju-on is a japanese horror movie, really low budget but they nail it in the atmosphere and story. plus one of the best antagonists ever
ghost in the shell and akira are anime cyberpunk movies, i cant even spoil these, they're perfect in every way ypossible, hope you dig |
