Some times music comes out and changes all that came before. These are those times.

Irrelevant:having band members. What you should do kids is when you go solo just use your
giant rolodex of famous musician friends to help you complete your album. To hell with
working with the same people for more than two songs. Keep it fresh.

Irrelevant:Beatles. Sorry beatles you had a good run. Then Mr. Smith came to Washington
and made better music than you. Obsolete.

Irrelevant:lesbian haircuts. Sorry all lezcuts pre 1968. The two chicks from S&G have made
you a thing of the past.

irrelevant:racism. Very rarely does an album have the power to enact social change but
somehow this one record changed a nation and racism was never seen again. Yeahhh

Irrelevant:people not wearing sunglasses. Seriously if you still let you eyes around naked in
public you should be put in jail. Bono showed us how to keep the face appropriately modest.

Irrelevant:upper back tats. Once something has been done to absolute perfection few people
will dare try and repeat the feat. So when Sublime showed us all back tattoo euphoria the
world collectively decided the upper back was off limits. Now any self respecting chico or chica
get tramp stamps and leave the space between the shoulders alone.

putting out good music what chance do you have.

Irrelevant:making good music. If you released two good cds 25 years ago by all means keep
touring and making bank but don't you dare release a follow up that comes even close to
matching your creative peak.

Irrelevant:doors. BS released a track called kick in the door opening everyone's eyes to the
fact that doors are basically windows. Thus the invention of sliding glass doors. Seriously if
your door can be kicked in you might as well have a sign on your back that says "rape me
plz".

irrelevant:writing your own music. For the first and only time in music history an artist
released a cd primarily of other peoples' songs. Shameful and lazy I know but it still was good
music. Why no one ever tries this is a mystery to me.
