Warped Tour 2014
I went to Warped tour for the first time this year in Toronto. The artists are
listed in the order that I saw them. |
| 1 | We Are The In Crowd
7/10 They incorporated lots of energy on stage and it was a fun way to start off
my day at Warped. |
| 2 | Watsky
9.5/10 Watsky definitely brought the most energy to the stage of any artist/band
that I saw. He also play my three favourite songs of his. His music sounds even
better live than recorded! |
| 3 | The ready set
5/10 I only knew one of their songs before warped and I did not find their set
particularly interesting. The one memorable moment was 'Fangz' which sounded
amazing live. |
| 4 | Mayday Parade
5/10 This was the second time I've seen Mayday live, and each time their seemed
to be some element missing. Not a bad set, it just did not meet my expectations for
such a popular band. |
| 5 | Air Dubai
5/10 I am a big fan of Air Dubai's, but they could have brought more
energy/enthusiasm to the stage. |
| 6 | Issues
7/10 The stage seemed somewhat crowded due to the number of band members
and Scout's equipment, but it was a solid set and the crowd was really into it. |
| 7 | Bad Rabbits
9/10 Probably the most 'fun' set of the day. The set involved dancing from band
and crowd members alike and the singer's vocal performance was tremendous. |
| 8 | This Wild Life
4/10 I really enjoy this band's recorded work, but I feel like it is not high-energy
enough for something like Warped. It was a good set considering the style, but not
the most interesting performance. |
| 9 | Beebs And Her Money Makers
6/10 I watched them while waiting for Secrets to perform. It was a very fun set
despite not knowing the band at all before. |
| 10 | Secrets
9/10 The heaviest band that I saw at Warped, the set was very intense. They
chose perfect songs for Warped to keep the crowd pumped and entertained. |
