Parks & Recreation (rashida Jones Is Hot)

I love Parks & Recreation. Great show and pretty Office-esque. Amy Poehler is a goddess. A Pawnee goddess. Anyways I was watching the office the other day and saw Rashida(Karen) on as Jim's girlfriend and she just makes me smile. Have some completely unrelated recent digs and tell me what you think.

This was good. Surprisingly good. A couple tracks surprised me. Much br00tal. Very
metal. Such hardcore. But doge aside, pretty face melting.

Digging shoegaze pretty recently, so this, Smashing Pumpkins, and MBV are all
pretty orgasmic. Still getting used to Billy Corgan's voice, but Brian's is much more
accessible for me.

Skramz. The girl on the cover reminds me of an old friend. We grew apart due to
drug usage, and the whole gritty, emotional, desperate feeling of the album just
reminds me of that time. It's not the best of it's kind but it is for me.

I was pretty ready to have my ears bleeding, from the band name, to the cover, to
the 8-bit mashed with metalcore. It really should have utterly failed on all levels.
And I'm indecisive on whether to give it a 3.5 or a 4.

Listened to this a while ago, and I went all the way, like recommended. Listened to
the lyrics, immersed myself in all the instruments and chaos, got behind the
meanings. Most of it was pretty blunt, the story of a man so self loathing, pitiful,
and damaged that drugs and empty sex were only the distractions that led to the
ultimate escape.

Bourget's. (Actually they weren't all bad but they were so much better as a
standard metalcore band when they had Shayley.)
