ChoccyPhilly 08.02.14	No, do not start with Orchid first, unless you know for a fact you like that kind of old production style. I used to struggle to get into the heavier Opeth. I always liked "harvest" though, so try there for starters. Personally, the first DM song I loved was "bleak" from BWP, so I recommend listening to that first and foremost. In fact, listen to the entire Blackwater Park and see how that goes

Also, BWP is arguably their most widely appreciated and kind of easy to into. Well, Leper and Bleak are at least. As long as the guy likes one song from the album, then the cards are in place. Morningrise is much more difficult to get into anyway
