Aftertaste
Most would say 1994's 'Betty' holds this spot, but I think Aftertaste surpasses Betty
marginally. The melody and the hooks are what makes this album special. Helmet
at their finest. (Like I Care, It's Easy to Get Bored, Exactly What You Wanted,

Betty
Iconic record. Even though I would be born a year after its release, meaning I
wasn't alive during that time period, I'm pretty sure this was huge. Not much to say

Meantime
IN THE MEANTIME!! Good shit. Mass amounts of riffage, very barebones, straight-

Strap It On
Their first. Has some kickass tunes that hold up with Helmet's other material.

Born Annoying
Although I never dug this as much as the above, it gets its spot here. 'Cause it's

Size Matters
Getting into their newer stuff. Not a bad album. In fact, it kicks ass. (Crashing

Seeing Eye Dog
Their newest album. A lot of melody, a bit more than most Helmet fans can
stomach. Still a great album with some good tunes. (Seeing Eye Dog, Welcome to

Monochrome
I don't own this album, but I have listened to it. Page Hamilton tries a new vocal
style and the end result isn't great. Just my opinion. The only redeemable track for
