07.25.14 | Dude from 300 to 800 it makes quite a difference in what you get. Considering you want a versatile instrument leaning on metal, I wouldn’t consider the telecaster (as it is great for everything else but metal). Stratocaster could be an option but not with the original pickups… so with an upper limit of 800$ I wouldn’t go there either. This is a higher end model, but check the sounds after the 4.00 minute, to get an idea of the versatile nature of the s-series.

07.25.14 | Yeah how about don't get a Jackson or a Schecter or a BC Rich and get a PRS from the SE line instead. It's absolutely the best bang for your money you'll get out of that price range. Fender and Gibson aren't bad either for that price range but I find they tend to be not made very well and tend to be kinda rough to play.
But yeah it's your choice. |
